Thanksgiving with Friends!

Some of our friends started an amazing annual Thanksgiving dinner at their home. It seems to get better and better every year. They really outdo themselves!! We had a wonderful time catching up with friends and hope that this tradition continues.

Christmas Decorating!!

George and I suddenly got the urge on Friday to put up our Christmas decorations. I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but we got the urge and we had to go with it!

Hawks vs. Wizards

George and I had a wonderful opportunity to take Malachi to the Hawk's game. Malachi goes to our church and is George's mentee. At first he was convinced that we were going to a monster truck rally (I guess he really likes monster truck), but ended up having a great time at the game.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HALEY!

We hope you have a wonderful birthday Haley!! We had a great time at La Parilla and roller skating at your birthday party. Some major middle school late skate night memories were brought back!! Your skating moves were amazing!!

Mom Troskie's Birthday Lunch

Over the weekend, George and I celebrated George's mom's birthday. We celebrated over chicken-pot-pie and a pumpkin roll. Bella and Bear played all afternoon. Even though Bella looks small she really fights back. One of her strategies is to bite down hard on Bear's massive gums and hang down from them. :)

Charleston

George and I visited one of our good friends Anthony over the weekend in Augusta. He is a high school band instructor and was having a football game on Friday and so we decided to see him in action. On our way down, we stopped off at Mistletoe Park and went hiking with Bear. It was a beautiful Fall day! We had a wonderful time visiting Anthony and really appreciated his hospitality.

After visiting Anthony, we decided to head over to Charleston for a couple days. Our first visit, Patriot's Point, was worth the whole trip. We toured the
USS Yorktown (CV-10) which was the tenth aircraft carrier to serve in the United States Navy. It was a city unto it's own and took us all afternoon to tour.

That evening, George and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary from when we got engaged. We walked around historic Charleston and visited The Market and The Battery. We then went for a nice dinner at a Japanese restaurant and then out for coffee and dessert.

Before we left on Monday, we walked around Folly Beach. We couldn't believe how expensive property front was (millions for a small home). The pictures that we took with Bear look painless, but it really took about 20 times since Bear HATES the water. Regardless, we all had a wonderful, rejuvenating weekend visiting our friend and touring Charleston.
